Technologist (Developer)
I've been typing sofware into a QWERTY keyboard since an early teenager (80's).
I was on a home computer when they first came out. I played Pong on a Timex-Sinclair 1000 from a listing I found on the magazines of the time. My interest in computing and video games has never ended.
By today I've started actually getting my head around the engines that make them happen. I've experimented with early DirectX (Direct Draw) in the 90's and have currently been looking at Pygame. I also grew into becoming aware of the algorithms that are common to graphics programming. Most retro video games are well documented by today. It's in that area of interest that I continue to want to get involved when I get a chance for it. I might still publish a few sketches in the future. Like anything else I might want to keep track of, the link should end up somewhere on this site.
I have many programming interests that might reflect here as well. I've first looked at the PixiJS game engine not too long ago. I've finally managed to approach examples of AI programming and neural networks at a very basic level. I've had great fun learning the Python language of late and remembered how I brushed with C and Pascal at some stage of my life. I even remember running a COBOL emulator when I started business programming only last century.
It's been an odd forty years behind this keyboard by today.
I've had a few certificates in mind for quite a long time. I follow tutorials and online courses on different aspects of technology and programming. Maybe I can keep some kind of check list here for all of that as well. What these pages should end up being about. My business card and portfolio and a timeline of my encounters with technology.
This is my correspondence with planet Earth.
